In 2008 a catalytic hydrocracking plant at the Slovnaft refinery in Bratislava in the Slovak Republic was being upgraded. Engineering and project managers CB&I Lummus turned to Walton for the supply of a control valve to regulate the temperature of lubricating oil to one of the plant’s gas turbines.
Walton was able to meet the demanding contractual conditions imposed by the customer. These included a comprehensive documentation package comprising O&M manual, general arrangement drawing and parts list, as well as works test certificate and full material certification for the pressure-retaining parts.
The flexibility of the Walton design enables each valve to be configured in a number of ways to suit the customer’s individual requirements; our computer aided design system allows us to document the specific configuration as-built for each project.
