Howaldtswerke-Deutsche Werft AG (HDW) in Kiel, Germany are currently completing a new fleet of fast ferries for Superfast S. A.  Walton's 200mm Gas Operated Valves regulate the air conditioning for these ships which are providing service between Greece and Italy, and also between Germany and Finland & Sweden.  Of varying sizes up to 204m, the largest of these vessels can carry up to 1595 passengers.  Walton's valves help to maintain the highest levels of comfort whether the environment is the cold of the Baltic winter or the heat of the Adriatic summer.

Walton's Gas Operated valves are installed on the Royal Navy's Sandown Class Single Role Minehunters, as well as variants in service with the Royal Saudi Naval Forces.  These 450 ton vessels are propelled by vectored thrust and bow thrusters.

To operate effectively, mine countermeasures vessels must have low magnetic and acoustic signatures, and high resistance to shock.  Walton's valves help them meet all these demanding requirements.
